"I am just still amazed that one person could have affected so many
lives here in such a short time. I've been here 8 years and don't think I've made that kind of an impression. What a special,
special person he was. You know, I was just thinking this morning that Joe had the bittersweet knowledge of knowing his days
were limited and through that knowledge he truly did live every day as a blessing and everyday as if it were his last, taking
nothing for granted. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow but I often wonder if we were warned, as Joe was warned, that we wouldn't
live each day a little differently. I'm so glad we were given the chance to become friends of Joe." - Rita Williams

I think about all of the true suffering in the world ( for example, the children in Africa born HIV positive through no fault
